Su Marshall-Hilton
Su completed foundation and advanced foundation at Chesterfield and then continued her art studies in Liverpool where she went on to become an art teacher there and in Derbyshire. During all this time she produced a life study port folio and is now working on a wider field of subject matter working in oils and pastels. After a recent five month long tour of Europe has produced some highly desirable mixed media studies of decaying European buildings

Su’s personal statement.

After many years of teaching others it is a pleasure to spend my time running the gallery and indulging myself in painting as much as time allows. My aim is to try to remove any decisions my brain might want me to make to my work and allow my soul and inner self take over and produce something that is purely from the heart. This often means that my work is spontaneous, surprising and full of vitality. ( Often surprising me into the bargain)
